Best Breakfast Places in Phoenix
Who doesn’t love breakfast!? From pancakes to avocado toast to the classic eggs and hash browns, there is such incredible variety to breakfast. Living in Phoenix presents so many options to enjoy breakfast at. We have a few favorite breakfast places that we want to share with you. There are so many here but we had to pick a few of the best (in no particular order). We will share some of our favorite menu items for you to enjoy.
Otro Cafe
Otro has been a hit for quite a few years. Located near Downtown Phoenix, the accessibility is quite convenient. This is our favorite spot for breakfast here in Phoenix. It is usually busy here but for a good reason. They have some of the best breakfast here, hands down.
What would we recommend? You can never go wrong with the flapjacks (our favorite in the city, not exaggerating) or try the huevos rancheros

Fáme Caffe
This is one of our favorite spots here. Fáme masterfully presents a farm-to-table concept. What makes this place so incredible is the incredible food, hip vibe, extensive coffee and espresso options, and the close proximity to the light rail. Fáme claims to make you feel at home and they do exactly that! Bring your friendly dog and enjoy the outdoors here.
What would we recommend? The tres breakfast tacos is our absolute favorite. It consists of black beans + cojita + scrambled eggs + pomme puree (incredible) all stuffed in corn tortillas topped with cilantro + cabbage + salsa. It’s never to early to combine with a mimosa or espresso.

Luci’s at the Orchard
Here is another gem! This location is perfect for families with children. There is so much room outside to enjoy the wonderful weather in Phoenix most months. The outdoor space offers many trees for shade and even a water play pad for kids (pre-coronavirus at least). The staff is extremely friendly and are always ready to help. Ask them for suggestions on the menu and they are happy to offer them.
What would we recommend? The Orchard omelette is a classic and a popular dish. We also prefer the traditional breakfast (two eggs, bacon, red potatoes, toast). Pair that with a creamy caramel latte and you will be enjoying a perfect morning!

Matt’s Big Breakfast
You knew this was coming didn’t you? Considered a local favorite, Matt’s Big Breakfast offers your down home traditional breakfast options. Eating at Matt’s typically comes with a price, a long wait for breakfast (which is typically fine because what’s time at this point?). The 5 locations valley wide makes it convenient for most. Their downtown location has been around since 2004 providing the best breakfast in the city.
What would we recommend? The griddle cakes or the hog & chick. You can’t go wrong with either of these options. Pair it with a black coffee and enjoy!
